Checo has been tattooing professionally for nearly a decade, but his love for art started long before. Originally interested in painting and even comics, he ended up pursuing tattooing after bringing his portfolio into a shop on a whim. That decision led to an apprenticeship where he was trained to take on everything that walked through the door. From Traditional Americana and Neo-Traditional to Japanese, Black & Gray, Manga/Anime, and Watercolor, Checo is your guy!

Today, Checo wants to do more bold projects with blackwork mixed with Neo-Traditional, floral blackout pieces, and anime designs layered with aggressive sigilism backgrounds. Known for pushing boundaries, he’s mastered the rules of tattooing and now focuses on bending them to create work that stands out.

Outside of tattooing, Checo plays in an industrial goth band, spends time drawing, and can talk for hours about video games, movies, and his wild adventures.
